WHO IS SABELL CORPORATION?

We are a Canadian company offering a range of traditional herbal medicines, plant-based nutritional supplements, and natural healing products. These products range from topical lotions (e.g. migraine headaches, insect bite relief) to internal herbal remedies that may help cleanse the organs, may boost the immune system and some that may help relieve the symptoms of physical ailments (e.g. Hepatitis C.)

The area defined by the Amazon Rainforest, the Coastal Plains and the Andes Mountains of Peru have evolved over centuries to what traditional healers refer to as the “Golden Triangle of Healing”. As a result of pilgrimages to the Amazon region, from the Coastal Plains and the Andes, by traditional healers, healing plants from the Amazon were added to existing formulae. It was found that the most effective remedies had components from all three regions. All of our ingredients are harvested from “The Golden Triangle Of Healing” in Peru.

The products are based on the formulas of Dr. José Cabanillas, whose extensive knowledge of Plant medicine is perfectly complemented by his training in western medicine. He has dedicated his life to preserving the Rainforest and has attempted to do so through the establishment of the "Isula Biological Preserve & Research Station".

Sabell Corporation's commitment to the rainforest is partly accomplished through our support of the Isula Preserve through royalties donated to Dr. Cabanillas. These royalties help fund botanical research, expansion of the preserve lands, and operations of the preserve.

Sabell Corporation views the Isula Biological Preserve as a project of the heart. We believe that people whose fundamental intention is of humanitarian service can bring this vision to fruition.

WHAT IS THE ISULA BIOLOGICAL PRESERVE & RESEARCH STATION?

The Isula Biological Preserve & Research Station (the Isula) is situated in the heart of the Peruvian Amazon and encompasses over 2200 acres of rainforest. The Isula is dedicated to the preservation of the rainforest and further discovery of the immense health benefits its unique ecosystem can provide.

The Isula is continuously identifying, testing and tagging plants as part of the development of a medicinal research garden. The results of this ongoing discovery include a number of products already in use by scientific and holistic health care communities around the world. The Isula is engaged in a broad range of ecological scientific studies, ranging from ethnobotany and zoology to medicine and pharmacology.

This preserve was established to rescue and preserve as much of the Rainforest as possible, as this and the area surrounding the Preserve is one of the most species rich areas of the world with over 300 trees species per hectare.

The Isula Preserve's goals include:

  • Preserving the Amazon Rainforest
  • Protecting the peoples living in harmony within the Rainforest
  • Documenting and researching the medicinally active plants in this region

WHAT DOES ISULA MEAN?

The name "Isula" comes from the Isula ant, the largest known ant that lives in the Amazon. It is said that without the Isula ant chewing the seed of the Tamshi tree, the seed would not sprout, a delicate lifecycle would be broken and the tree would cease to exist.

The Isula ant symbolizes the interdependence of all life in the rainforest and, for this reason, the Isula Biological Preserve & Research Station was so named.
